CAMP CORRI 2007

DAY ONE: HIGH ROPE ELEMENTS @ BUKIT BATOK

We did high ropes first! It was easy.

Hello Shi Hui, Sarah, Cleo, Alina, Angelyn, Desiree, Vanessa, Samantha & Jasmine!

We did rock climbing after lunch! Pretty much just sat around waiting for our turns.

They kept throwing and catching rocks that some landed on me. Boo!

STILL DAY ONE: NIGHT WALK @ CHANGI COAST WALK

No ghosts lah, and no photos. It was eerily dark, and the flash from my fisheye is very intense. But I do have bus shots! Who doesn't love bus shots?

DAY TWO: TRAPEZING @ SENTOSA

It's a a nice early sunny day to hit the beach! The class was spilt into two groups, the first half doing trapezing while the other half play beach games! We played captain's ball first, then volleyball.

Guess what! I fell backwards again! (It happened during blading last year! I was erh, dancing.) Haha. Apparently the ball got to close for comfort when I served, which caused to me lose my balance and fall back on the sand. It was sorta funny, though my butt hurt quite a little. Tsk. I can never do sports.

Played more games like soccer, frisbee and dog-and-bone after that.

Then our turn to trapeze came! We wore these really tight belt-like things, they were almost like a murder apparatus.

The sequence is pretty much like that:

#1. Climb to the top! Tiring.

#2. Step on the plank and hold on to the metal bar tightly. Also, apply chalk if necessary.

#3. Hold on more. That's me and Natlie up there!

#4. The scariest part of all. Try to grab the bar while leaning forward! It was sick.

And then, jump off.

I screamed and let go almost instantly. I was not ready! But it was fun. It doesn't feel very high, really. Maybe because I was assured I'll fall on the net and not on the ground. (Duh.)

We finished and had lunch by the sea! Cool, no?

I told them it looked wrong (Sarah, Jasmine being very close to Sarah and Seaweed?) and was a little amused that Jasmine amused me more by posing like that with me.

Okay, I was not amused. Hardy-har.

Hello Annalisa, Sarah, Sarah, Tricia & Jasmine!

After lunch we set of to Dragon Boating at Kallang River. (We found a floating dead fish!) No pictures either, because it'll probably fall off the boat. But I have one on the way to Kallang:

Me and Elysebeth were sneaking a picture of Mr Arman and we've got it! Haha.

Dragon boating was a whole lotta fun! We raced twice, but my boat lost on both occasions. Haha. We went into the sea! We had Mary & Lamb (inside joke) in the beginning but by the time we rowed back practically every instructor was onboard. Haha.

DAY THREE: Trekking @ Pulau Ubin

We took cute bumboats! I was being noisy, but then every bumboat needs a noisemaker no? Haha.

We reached, and Pulau Ubin is so cute! It's so simple and relaxed. Plus bicycle rental was like 45 cents! Haha. No wait I think it was 2 bucks. But I don't even cycle so HAH.

Trekking was wicked! I thought it was great, but mostly because of the people I walked with. Alina, Cleo and me took turns to carry a box half filled with water, and they made it a good thing by saying they will have bulging muscles. Cleo did have muscles! I didn't carry the box at all, and when I tried to Miss Chen said she didn't want me to do it 'cos she thought I carried it enough. TSK.

So a group of us walked at the back and we didn't feel rushed since it was the back after all, and while everyone had to rush across muddy pools we took our sweet time. Hahaha. Plus we walked with this really cute dog!

There was a white one, but it was at the front, and the two dogs actually had mouth-to-mouth contact! (Note: Kissing) So cute. But they're both males I think.
