Prom Night

York Hotel
Did anybody actually follow the Masquerade theme? Haha.
IT WAS A BLAST! Okay, initially it was kinda lame. The first band came on during dinner, which was really weird cos we were eating while they were jamming and the music was terribly loud. Some girl from our school performed with the band, but I have no idea who she is. 0_0
There was a catwalk for Bodynits apparel, and my sweet sweet Cheahism bared her torso for the world to see! So did Alex, Rosie, Renee, Steph and some other graduates. The sound crew were being perverts.
Anyway, there was lucky draw and stuff, and I got myself a Nike lanyard! Haha, but thanks to Geraldine and Joey I suppose, and Amanda for sabo-ing me to go upstage. It was kinda like this:
Emcee: Geraldine Lee! Where are you Geraldine?
Amanda: Go go Randi just go! Here! She's here! Goooooo lah!
Emcee: Geraldine!
Randi: HUH! I AM NOT GERALDINE!
Emcee: Geraldine's best friend! Come up here!
Amanda: GOOOOOOOOO!
*blahblah go upstage and receive gift from Nicolette and Nicole Marie and take a photo*
Randi: We have the same Chinese name.
Emcee: Is it!
Randi: Yeah. *goes down the stage*
Emcee: What is it! What is your Chinese name?
Randi: Hui Fung.
Emcee: Hui Fung! Fung Hui! *blahblahblah*
The thing is Joey bought Geraldine's ticket so the prize was supposed to be her's, but she didn't want it so um, nevermind, i have a cool flourescent orange lanyard now. Haha!
Anyway, West Grand Boulevard came on next and they were ROCKING! Bryan is sooooo sexy! :D Me and Chloe were practically an inch away from him! Haha. The joys of taking photos right at the front of the stage.
Ooooooh! I was looking for Stephanie at one point in time and when I got to a table full of 4/8ers, I thought I saw Banana and the scenario went like this:
Randi: Hey Janna have you seen Stephanie...
*Stacy turns around slowly and gives me a look of eternal damnation*
Randi: OMG!!!!!! STACY!!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS I THOUGHT YOU WERE JANNA! AHHHHH SORRY SORRY! OMG!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHA I'M REALLY SORRY STACE! The bible says to forgive! :D
Miss Martens was so cute, she told me if I ever have a photo exhibition, I had to invite her. Of course I will! But that would remain a dream for now. And she nearly wanted to poke my eye when I wore my frames. You know how she has to wear glasses to read? She jokingly borrowed my frames to read a card. Haha, principals have really weird sense of humour. (My frames had no lenses.)
Games and stuff after that, then everybody flocked outside the ballroom to take photos with WGB and to be in some video of their's. Hope For Monday was getting ready inside, so me, Lizmypants and Cheahism quickly jump at the opportunity to take a photo with them before everybody came back in! Haha.
I think it's cool that I actually know some of them from Emmanuel like Ben, Aiken and Rachel had a really good voice! :) The dude in pink, Lemuel, asked for Cheahism's number! But he doesn't even know who Marcus Cheah is and nearly thought it was her boyfriend. HAHAHAHAHAHA! I thought the best thing was that WGB may have been a well-known local band but people were uncertain to headbang, whereas HFM got everybody to their feet! It was so awesome, cos we sang along and danced and there was an encore to Umbrella and Hallelujah. We might have missed Rihanna's concert but they brought Rihanna to us! Haha!
Disco fever after that. We practically took over the stage, and a congo line started! Fun fun. Everybody is going to be clubbers, seriously. After we settled down more prizes were given out for masks, then the hotel was kicking us out so we couldn't dance more but the emcee said to continue our night at Clarke Quay. BAD INFLUENCE. Hahaha.
Went down to Simei and shared a drink with Sheral, then it was back home!
